Mark is a British-trained architect who has divided more than 30 years of professional practice between Great Britain and the United States. Mark's experience covers a wide range of building types, with an increasing focus on modern academic libraries. He is actively involved in discussions of emerging library trends, having most recently presented on the subject at SCUP International. Mark is committed to sustainability, and to the richness of design that comes from experiencing different cultures through personal travel. He received both a Bachelor of Arts and a Diploma in Architecture from the University of Westminster.

Anne brings to Perry Dean her enthusiasm for creating dynamic learning environments, where her interests in the practice and teaching of design converge. For this reason, she finds working with educational building typologies and ideal way to explore the relationship between education and practice. Since joining Perry Dean in 2006, Anne's diverse experience has included all project phases from planning, programming through construction, and various project types such as campus and facilities master plans, academic libraries, and institutional projects such as a museum and a courthouse. Also an educator, she has served as adjunct faculty at the Boston Architectural College since 2001. Anne graduated from Wesleyan University with a B.A. in Art History and Studio Art, and holds a Master of Architecture from Harvard University's Graduate School of Design.
Ryan Senkier, AIA

Since joining Perry Dean in 2004, Ryan has amassed a diverse portfolio of projects that vary dramatically in size, complexity and context. His experience includes libraries, student housing, performing arts facilities, master planning, classroom buildings, museums, courthouses and private residences. This variation has allowed for the exploration and development of design at multiple scales, and provides him with valuable experience working with a wide range of constituents. In addition to practice, Ryan also teaches architecture as adjunct faculty at Northeastern University, where he received his Bachelor of Science. He holds a Master of Architecture (with Distinction) from the University of Michigan Ann Arbor. Ryan is registered architect in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
Todd Shafer, AIA

Todd joined the Perry Dean team in 2007, and has a great deal of experience with complex projects for distinguished college and university clients. Todd's experience in all phases of a project, from programming and conceptual design to oversight of construction, provides him with a critical understanding of the implications for the built project. With his current professional focus on designing learning environments and past experience, the importance of inspiring teaching and learning spaces has remained of utmost importance to Todd. This has been influenced by his previous career as a residential faculty member (teaching Spanish) at a boarding high school, and his master's degree thesis project exploring innovative academic spaces. Beyond the office, Todd has served as an adjunct faculty member of the Boston Architectural College since 2008. Todd graduated from Middlebury College with a dual B.A. in Psychology and Spanish, and holds a Master of Architecture from Harvard University's Graduate School of Design.
Linda Just, AIA

Linda is an architect and researcher who combines a passion for narrative and critical practice within the details of design. She is versatile, having worked on a broad spectrum of typologies ranging from academic and cultural spaces to residential, commercial, and continuing care facilities -- both under the larger umbrella of architecture, and in the focused capacity of interior design.
With a vested interest in the value of interdisciplinary design and practice, she works closely and collaboratively with internal and consultant teams to deliver projects that thoughtfully consider the integration of systems; and which address not only programmatic requirements, but also user experience and perception.
To explore an active curiosity in the communicative capacity of architecture, as well as its dynamic social facets and cultural meanings, she occasionally writes; and has been published in On Site Review, MAS Context, and most recently, co-edited the inaugural issue of the publication PAIRS.
Linda received a Bachelor of Arts in Architecture and Masters Degree in Architecture from the University of Illinois-Chicago, as well as a Master’s in Design Studies from the Harvard Graduate School of Design.

Mike worked at PDR from 2008 to 2010 and rejoined the team in 2018. His decade-plus of architectural experience has had a focus on educational projects: public, independent, and international K-12 schools, as well as higher education institutions. While earning his Bachelor of Architecture at Roger Williams University he spent a semester abroad in Florence, Italy. Mike’s appetite for learning and design extends to teaching at the Boston Architectural College. He led design studios from 2011-2019 and continues to regularly participate in the portfolio review process and volunteer as a guest critic. Recently, with PDR, he worked on the College of the Holy Cross’s the Prior Performing Arts Center.
Hannah Ostwald, AIA

Hannah joined PDR in 2018 after earning her Master of Architecture from Northeastern University. Hannah primarily works on academic buildings, including the Worcester Dining Commons at the University of Massachusetts’ Amherst campus, the Dimond Library Feasibility Study for the University of New Hampshire, and the MIT Music Building. Hannah efficiently uses communication to build relationships with clients. She is passionate about context-specific and vernacular architecture, ensuring projects’ longevity, and creative problem-solving. Besides the greater Boston area, Hannah has studied in Germany and Iceland.

Pat joined PDR as an intern in 2015 and stayed on after the completion of his Master of Architecture from Northeastern University. His recent experience is in performing arts buildings and academic libraries, including the Prior Performing Arts Center at the College of the Holy Cross and Lutnick Library at Haverford College. Pat specializes in BIM software and digital modeling and is interested in the design and detailing of enduring institutional buildings.

A Massachusetts-licensed architect with over 25 years of experience, Lila has served as project architect for many distinguished, award-winning projects. Her diverse experience includes large-scale institutional, higher education, mixed use/residential, and transportation projects. She has extensive construction documents production management experience. Her technical expertise is reinforced by her interest in the design and detailing of the building envelope, which she approaches with a strong commitment to sustainability. She holds a Master of Architecture degree from the Shahid Behest (Melli) University of Iran.
Lila finds joy in mentoring young professionals and aspiring architects, sharing with them her passion and rigor in creating clear, well-organized drawing sets for well-executed buildings.
Michael Bellefeuille, AIA

An architect with 16 years of professional experience, Michael has worked in all phases of planning, design, and construction, with an emphasis on meeting the needs of clients, communities, and the environment. His career has seen a focus on public libraries -- for which he has a particular passion, as well as work on higher education facilities, masterplanning, and single-family residences. Michael first became interested in buildings as a child while visiting construction sites with his grandfather, a homebuilder and skilled finish carpenter. This lifelong appreciation for architecture has made him attentive to the details and moments that strengthen a design, and has informed his interest in balancing contemporary needs and environmental sustainability with the craft of building and local context. Michael is a registered architect in Massachusetts and New Hampshire, and holds a Master of Architecture degree from Wentworth Institute of Technology.

Jim Kelly-Rand has been with Perry Dean for a number of years working on a number of award winning PDR projects. He has extensive experience in a wide range of institutional building types. His most recent projects with PDR include, the Prior Performing Arts Center at Holy Cross, the Lutnick Library at Haverford College and the Gustafson Administration building at SNHU. He has over 40 years of construction and design experience and continues to provide technical assistance on PDR projects.
Brian Elyo

Brian Elyo has over 20 years experience in design and construction, specializing in education, ecumenical design and planning. Brian helps guide clients through all aspects of programming and design, coordination and construction administration. He is also a staunch advocate for public art. When he lived in Colorado, he volunteered time and expertise to numerous community arts organizations including being on the founding board of the Knob Hill Urban Arts District. His passion for design, community planning and detailing is infectious and can help inspire greater sum solutions toward successful projects.

Drew joined PDR in 2023 after working for a sustainably-focused residential firm for four years. He assists PDR in the pursuit of ILFI- and LEED-certified projects, recognizing architecture's prerogative for environmental and social responsibility. His role at PDR spans from locally-sensitive early design studies through careful detailing of lasting interior finishes. Drew is enthusiastic about both lifelong learning and teaching and continues to teach BIM courses and design studios at the Massachusetts College of Art and Design, where he received a Bachelor of Arts and Master's Degree in Architecture. He is also currently pursuing architectural licensure, so that he may further impact the profession's dedication to the environment.

Joey joined PDR in 2023 after earning his Master’s in Architecture from Wentworth Institute of Technology. His thesis project addressed the affordable housing crisis by creating a mixed use site to support and shelter the growing unhoused population in Boston. Joey is passionate about spaces designed through a social lens, and hopes to help create equitable and accessible architecture.
Wylie Barker

Wylie joined PDR in 2024 after moving from New York City, where he worked for five years on a range of typologies and scales, including single-family residential, federal government facilities, and public park structures. The opportunity to work on educational and institutional buildings drew Wylie to Perry Dean Rogers. Having come to architecture through history, the study of precedent is an essential part of his design approach, both at schematic design stages and while detailing a construction set. Wylie graduated from Vassar College with a B.A. in History and a minor in Art History, and received his Master of Architecture from Columbia University’s Graduate School of Architecture, Preservation and Planning.

Patty DeMild joined PDR in 2021 in the Accounting Department. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from the University of Massachusetts with a concentration in Business Management. She has over 30 years experience in Accounting-Finance. During any given week, she touches every aspect of the firm’s finances, including project accounting, payroll, billing, accounts receivable, external audits and banking, and manages the business insurances and human resources and benefits.

Olivia Aragon

Olivia joined PDR as an architectural co-op in the summer of 2024 after completing her second year as a candidate for a Bachelor of Science in Architecture at Northeastern University. She approaches projects with curiosity and an eagerness to learn. Olivia is interested in spaces that are designed for the present, but allow for flexibility and encourage change to meet future users' needs. As a student, Olivia is a member of Northeastern University’s chapter of AIAS, as well as the returning treasurer for the Northeastern University Dance Team. Her passion for how the built environment becomes a representation of cultural values is fueled by her love of traveling and visiting new places. Olivia is excited to embark on her architectural career and learn as much as possible throughout her time at PDR.
