Overview

Overview
One of the oldest practices in Boston, Perry Dean Rogers | Partners Architects has maintained a position of leadership through the addition of new design talent and an approach to sustainable design that is informed, inventive, engaging, and compelling. We Honor the legacy of our firm and have built upon its rich history; our work is not the product of one lead designer but rather of multiple talents working in close collaboration. There is a great deal of melding of ideas, inventiveness, and fresh interpretation - a methodology of practice that keeps the work both balanced and innovative, with a clear focus and intensity that can come only from years of experience. The principals and senior leadership provide clear direction throughout each project, while at the same time actively encouraging alternative viewpoints and design strategies from all members of the team.
Culture

Culture
The culture of PDR is 100 years in the making. Factor that number by the hundreds of people who have contributed to its development over time and you get a special combination of diverse perspectives, as well as a clear focus and intensity that can only come from years of experience. The ethos of PDR is anthropological. In our design process, we employ intense and systematic observation together with a curiosity centered on people and the environment in which they live their lives. We use time-tested methods of evaluating, coordinating, and planning solutions to meet an organization's requirements. We believe that our choices must be ecologically sustainable, from the smallest details to the largest endeavors. Equally importantly, we believe that architecture can represent and support a community's dreams and hopes when it is conceived and implemented with intelligence and care.
